Want i had a solution for you. My 2015 3500 doesn't have the disconnect trouble, it just has very vulnerable brake movement. I tow a vehicle trailer, a 15000 pound fifth wheel and small 6000 pound tenting trailer and the consequences are the equal - susceptible trailer brake help. This actually got my attention once i picked up our new jaco pinnical fifth wheel and almost rear-ended a car at the second stop light. Controller changed into set to heavy trailer electric powered brakes and advantage on 10 (max). Most important motive i bought this truck was to tow and am very disappointed with this device. Took it to the provider and they updated the "moduale software program" which made little to no difference. Anyone else having this trouble?.
I have a 2012 2500 with the 6.7 cummins, and i had the wiring harness changed once already for the rear of the automobile. The connector is in the splash quarter from the the front left tire, and this fills with water whilst riding in the rain. Those are not usually sealed, and could purpose the trailer brakes to fail.
