The black tape isn't a mistake. That need to be the feed to the switch and the black is the transfer leg that returns to the mild. Then the light is attached to the neutral with the others. The left of the photo (mild gray background) is what i have installation so far. The proper is what's present. I now realise there's no impartial to visit the regular transfer from the three way switch since it receives used as warm.
Join the energy supply cable most effective to this new cable (black to black, white to white). Flip the diagram for the previously present circuit left-to-right, and strength the 3-way from the second one junction box rather than the primary. Now, about that marked impartial. It's far simply a neutral, despite having a marking this is generally used and required to re-designate white wires as "warm". If this designation is used somewhere else in the house, then i'd argue this utilization violates nec because of being inconsistent (110.12 workmanlike). In any other case it is, well, debatable.
The ceiling container at the left is how i suppose it need to be stressed out, with one exception. Word that there is black tape proven on the neutral going to the sink light transfer. This switch is not a three-manner switch so i suppose that the black tape is a mistake. The recent from the ceiling field goes to the transfer which then sends it to the mild fixture. The neutral from the mild fixture should connect to the impartial from the ceiling box in the switch container and all of the neutrals are related together inside the ceiling container as shown.
